Postnatal Doula in Sussex, Surrey & Kent

Supporting you whilst you transition into your new life as a parent &

helping you to gently get your baby used to the world.

You finally have your baby in your arms…now what?!

The early days with a newborn can be tough…not knowing what to do, adjusting to a whole new way of living. You are tired, unsure, feeling alone and that’s where I come in…

How I can support you, in the early days with your baby…

I am there to help smooth out your transition to parenthood. I offer support in the early days, weeks or months as your baby eases into the world and you ease into parenting.

They say “It takes a village”…but more often than not we are left not knowing where to find our village or who should even be in it!

I am here to help you to find your feet after you have had a baby, be a voice of reassurance, be your guide and help you to make the most of the fourth trimester with your new baby.

My services as a Postnatal Doula will help you to feel more confident, rested and supported.

I will be there to:

  • Offer emotional support

  • Give practical support with looking after your newborn

  • Help you with some light chores or making drinks and snacks

  • Look after your baby whilst you take a shower, have a nap or a well earned rest. You will be able to take some time to recharge your batteries (however works best for you), knowing that your baby is in safe hands.

  • Be there for you to talk through your feelings, worries or fears

  • Help you to process your birth experience

  • Signpost you to additional support and information

  • Attend appointments and groups with you (if you are feeling unsure and would like help getting out and about with your baby)

  • Look after your baby to give you the opportunity to spend some quality time with your other children

Let me help you make the most of this life changing time. You do not need to walk this path alone.
